THE MALLETT BROTHERS BAND:
A very special evening as the Pride of Portland, Maine takes to the Parting Glass stage for an evening of country-rock at its finest.
Described as both “the leading light of country rock today” as well as “the North’s long-awaited answer to Southern Rock,” the Mallet Brothers are selling out venues coast to coast and gaining fans far and wide.
They have many fans in Saratoga from their early days at Putnam Den, Eastbound Throwdown and the Americade Concert Series.
The Parting Glass is lucky to have them–it’s a perfect venue for their level of good old Rock & roll. Let’s do this, Saratoga! The Parting Glass is OPEN for a new wave of original live rock from the best in today’s touring acts!
The word is out:
“Founded in 2009, The Mallett Brothers Band have had multiple lineup changes and stylistic shifts over the years, but they’ve remained steadfast in delivering heartfelt songs with emotional lyricism, vivid imagery, and dynamic musical tones…” – No Depression”
“..over five independently released LPs—the sixth, Vive l’Acadie! is due June 15—the Malletts refined their sound… to capture the “frontier mentality” that not only runs through Maine but all of America’s wide-open spaces…” – Relix Magazine
Rare are the bands that challenge the inexorable classification by playing whatever the hell they want. Take a gamble to overthrow the whole system by listening to New England’s wildly eclectic crew of genre rebels, The Mallett Brothers Band.” – Texas Hill Country
