Highlights from this week’s announcements include the return of the Rock the Block series in Cohoes, and the Upbeat on the Roof series up at Skidmore.  Freedom Park, already fully booked for the summer, nevertheless added in a whole new block of shows on additional days of the week.  The long wait for full-on shows to return to The Hollow is over, including a terrific triple bill led by The Vaughns this Saturday.  Troy Music Hall also continues to fill out their exciting fall schedule.  And finally, don’t miss the Palace Theatre’s next Palace Sessions episode. This “Nippertown Final Four” edition features the top finishers from this year’s inaugural March Madness competition.  Tune in for excellent sets from Glass Pony, Girl Blue, Candy Ambulance, and Bad Mothers, available online June 30.
