Downtown Troy BID’s Fitness in the Park on through August

TROY — The Collar City kicked off its Fitness in the Park program last Sunday, extending the free event each Sunday through Aug. 8.

The program, which provides free yoga classes, will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. in William D. Chamberlain Riverfront Park. Each guest will fill out a COVID-19 tracing questionnaire upon arrival. Please bring a mask, mat and water. Guests of all ages, levels and experiences are welcome.

“Fitness in the Park has become a summer tradition in Troy,” Katie Hammon, executive director of the Downtown Troy BID, said. “We are thrilled to offer this program to our community in its eighth season. From residents to business owners, students in town for the summer and those traveling from nearby communities, the tradition continues with new and returning faces each year. Get outside and interact safely with your neighbors, bring a friend or family member for this all ages, all abilities community based free fitness program.”
