NY Rock N Roots organizer Roger Sharp said, “NY Rock N Roots is proud to be bringing back live IN PERSON music outdoors to upstate New York at Frog Alley Brewing. We strive to bring amazing bands to as many people as possible at a reasonable cost and in an environmentally friendly manner. We’re excited to once again to be a part of good music, good friends, good times and good vibes on Earth Day Weekend at Frog Alley!”
Established in 2018, Frog Alley Brewing Co. is the cornerstone of the Mill Artisan Project, a transformative development that has reenergized lower State Street in Schenectady. Already known to produce excellent craft beers, Frog Alley has also become a go-to live music destination for artists and fans alike.
Frog Alley Brewery said, “This summer, we will be a place where people can listen to live music, drink great beer, and still have a safe and socially distanced day. We have been working hard throughout the entire COVID process to plan these shows in a way that will allow people to get back to normal while still doing our part to make sure that we are being conscious and aware. Music has been an incredible way for us to bring people together since we opened in 2018, and although the way that we must do so is changing quite a bit, we are ready for the challenge. Our goal is for people to know that they can count on us to provide entertainment on a regular basis, and this weekend-long event is a great kickoff for the summertime.”
Annie in the Water said, “The band is looking forward to our Earth Day celebration performance at Frog Alley Brewing for many reasons. It’s like a family affair for everyone in the band and all the different parties involved. Last time we played Frog Alley was on our “Hayley in the Water” Tour performing to a packed house. The vibes were great, and it was wonderful to see the strong support from our fans, fam and friends in Capital Region. Great venue and stellar staff at Frog Alley also helped keep the vibes going all night… We are also excited to be billed with Rich Ortiz! We have been friends with him for years but never linked up on the same bill so it will be great to share the stage with him and hang out. We also get to work with our friends at High Peaks Sound who are our go-to production team. Every time we link up the HPP team, the show is solid from the lights to the sound. The whole weekend should be awesome and The Wheel playing the following day will be great to round it all out. Fantastic musicians and super groovy performances. It will surely be a great way for everyone to collaborate with good energy to showcase the high caliber of talent and production coming out of the Capital Region.”Andy Morse, guitarist and bandleader for The Wheel said, “The Wheel rolls into Frog Alley for our first-ever performance in Schenectady! On top of a weekend full of music and Earth Day celebrations, April 25th also marks The Wheel’s first public performance of 2021. ‘Never miss a Sunday show’… we’d love to see you!”
