Top Tips for Live Music (for the week beginning March 1st)

March is usually when things start to pick up again around the live music scene.  This is still true, even with Covid.  The Egg is presenting an interesting series of live streams with Taj Mahal.  Troy Music Hall has started up their “Free Music at Noon” series again, this time virtually.  And several places (including Caffe Lena) are figuring out appropriate ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.  Spring will be here soon, and with it the return of live music alfresco.  There is much to look forward to.

Glass Pony

Best bet: Mirth Films continues their “Live Stream Tour” this Thursday with a performance by Glass Pony from Lark Hall.  This is something of a twofer, as you get to see not only the excellent band, but also check out the new renovations at Lark Hall.  The place looks awesome…see it for yourself and watch the performance here
