Top Tips for Live Music (for the week beginning November 30th)

Very sad to hear of the passing of local native and country great Hal Ketchum this past week.  Hal was born in Greenwich, and cut his teeth playing locally before moving on to Austin and then Nashville.  It was good hearing his songs on local radio again (if you’re not familiar, check out “Past the Point of Rescue”, “Small Town Saturday Night”, and many others).  I know he played the Egg back in 2015, and I think he had a couple of shows at Caffe Lena in 2017.  Those might have been his last local shows, unless someone has better information than me.

Best bet: What better way to ring in December than dinner with the Gibson Brothers at the Cock ‘n Bull?  Reserve early, I have to believe this will sell out very quickly.
