Top Tips for Live Music (for the week beginning November 16th)

A friendly reminder – if you are watching any of the growing number of national livestreams (and you should!), how you purchase the tickets matters.  In many cases, these shows are presented by one of our local venues, and if you purchase tickets through their link, they get a portion of the proceeds.  For example, Tuesday’s Taj Mahal show is being presented by both The Egg and Troy Music Hall, so you can literally choose which one will get a couple bucks from you.  It doesn’t cost you anything extra – it just helps our local venues.

PJ Duo

Best bet: Saturday night has PJ Duo playing up at Putnam Place.  There are a couple of reasons you don’t want to miss this one.  They have several new songs they’ve written this year, including the recently released “Uncomfortable”.  And perhaps more importantly, PJ announced that he’s moving down to Nashville over the winter, so this is probably the last time to catch the guys locally for a while.  Get there early for the 10:00 closing time.
