Stories from a Bar #34, Paul Leone, NYS Brewers Association
In the latest episode of Stories From A Bar, I am joined by Paul Leone Executive Director of the New York State Brewers Association. Paul and I have some drinks and chat about his professional background in media production, NY craft beer, the Brewers Association, and how the Association’s role has had to adjust because of COVID.
Based in Rochester, NY, Paul and the Brewers Association have been working hard to find new ways to raise money and support the NY Craft Beer scene after having to cancel their yearly in person events. The most recent project being the virtual Peace, Love, Beer & Music festival the Association organized with breweries across NY state and musicians across the country. As well as a statewide collaboration beer called Summer of Love that numerous breweries around the state will be brewing and selling. We also have fun talking about Paul’s time as Media Manager at the Baseball Hall of Fame, making craft beer TV shows, and the moment he knew he wanted to do something with beer as a living.
Be sure to check out Episode 34 of the Stories From A Bar podcast to also hear about Paul’s story as well as how you can help support the Brewers Assocation and NY Craft Beer.
