1964: The Beatles’ album “A Hard Day’s Night” was released in the U.S.
1973: Queen released their self-titled debut album.
1982: The Major League Baseball All-Star Game was played outside the United States for the first time – in Montreal.
1985: Live-Aid concerts took place in Philadelphia and London to raise money for the hungry in Africa. The Beach Boys, the Four Tops, Paul McCartney, Tina Turner, Elton John, David Bowie, The Who, Queen, Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan were among the performers.
