Concert Announcements for the week of June 21st

Side-B at the Low Beat

Live music has definitely resumed in Nippertown.  While the big venues obviously remain shuttered, you could hear live music this past week at places like Frog Alley, The Cock ‘n Bull, and the Rustic Barn Pub (amongst others).  If we collectively stay smart, it should only get better from here.

In a trend I hope continues even post-pandemic, we have another band/movie doubleheader, with Colonie’s own Side-B playing at the Malta drive-in (before a showing of the classic Almost Famous).  This seems like it could become a nice Capital District tradition…very summery.

Finally, East Greenbush announced their Music in the Park Series for August.  This joins (already announced) series at Powers Park, Schaghticoke, and North Greenbush.  So if you like your music al fresco, Rensselaer County seems to have you covered.
