Best of 2019: Steve Nover’s Top 60 Concerts

3

If you go to concerts in the Capital Region you’ve seen Steve Nover. Not only is he an established percussionist, but he is also an avid concert goer. You can usually find him by the stage, or just off the side, dancing. When I get to a venue and see Steve, I know I picked the best concert to go to that night. He must have an internal compass that leads him to the best live music the area has to offer. Here’s Steve’s list of the Top 60 shows he went to this year. – Jim

screwed up & left The Figgs off my list; November 23 at The hangar On The Hudson; I’ll use the excuse that there were no tickets, lol…would have been in the middle of the lust

Great list, saw a lot of those concerts myself … particularly cool to have Brian Auger make the grade, that was a rare treat (and I’m not just saying it because his son, Karma (the drummer), complimented my sneakers …)

thought of another good show I left out today; The Stick men at The Linda-August 10, & again, no ticket stub excuse
