Fallbany Arts and Crafts Market to be held every Thursday in September
This Thursday kicks off the midday Fallbany Arts and Crafts Market in downtown Albany. The market will be held every Thursday for the month of September from 11:30 am- 2 pm at Tricentennial Park on Broadway. The series will feature local art, crafts, culture, and work available for purchase as well as diverse musical acts each week. Tricentennial Park makes an ideal location for the market given the nearby parking garage and a variety of afternoon snack options in the neighborhood.
One of the main sponsors for the event, Albany Center Gallery– conveniently located a block away from the market, encourages visitors to stop in for an extra dose of capital region art. Small prints and other works will be available at their market table. WEXT Radio, another main sponsor, will be set up to present the local musical acts which include: Honey Slider on Sept 5th, Mike Grutka on Sept 12th, Angelina Valente on Sept 19th and Julia Alsarraf on Sept 26th.
