Sam Reider and the Human Hands will be performing at Galway’s Cock ‘n Bull Music in the Barn series on August 1st.

Sam Reider is an American accordionist, pianist, composer, and singer-songwriter. He’s been featured at Lincoln Center and on NPR and collaborated with pop stars, jazz and folk musicians around the world. Reider is the leader of a “staggeringly virtuosic band” (RnR Magazine) of bluegrass and jazz musicians based in Brooklyn called The Human Hands.

The restaurant is a perfect setting for the folksy, blue grass sounding band, as the American music tradition has a long history of barn performances. If you haven’t been to the Cock ‘n Bull to hear the acoustics, you are in for a special treat. The barn creates a dream sound for the performances.

If you’d like to dine at the restaurant, reservations are recommended. The performance begins at 7:30, so plan on an earlier dinner. The restaurant also has a fully stocked bar, complete with local beers and wines. Then watch as they push the tables back, and sit back to enjoy Sam Reider and his amazing band.

Advance ticket purchase is recommended.
