In support of his latest album, Can’t Wake Up, Shakey Graves is out on tour again with stops slated for the Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park at 8pm on Wednesday, May 15 ($27 in advance; $30 at the door; on sale Friday) and the Academy of Music in Northampton at 8pm on Friday, May 17 ($35).

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: After years at Hunter Mountain, the Mountain Jam music fest is moving to a new location this summer with a batch of A-list performers including Willie Nelson & Family, Gov’t Mule, the Avett Brothers, The Revivalists, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Dispatch, Alison Krauss, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Twiddle, Toots & The Maytals, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Mandolin Orange, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe and lots more.

“The Voice” winner Sawyer Fredericks is returning to Caffe Lena in Saratoga for his annual Memorial Day Weekend three-night stand – 8pm on Friday & Saturday, May 24 & 25; 7pm Sunday, May 26. Priced at $45; VIP $65, tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday (February 15).

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Cohoes Music Hall welcomes Songwriters Hall of Famer and two-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Rodney Crowell with Joe Robinson opening the show. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am Friday (February 15).

According to Blues Traveler’s website, John Popper is headed into Revolution Hall at Brown’s Brewing Co. in Troy for a solo show on Thursday, April 11. Details to follow as they are revealed…

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Palace Theatre in Albany will host Greater Nippertown’s first holographic concert when a hologram of the late Frank Zappa – who died in 1993 – leads an all-star ensemble of Zappa/Mothers alum in concert in “The Bizarre World of Frank Zappa.” Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am Friday (February 15).

WGNA’S third annual Heartstrings for Hope Show to benefit St. Jude takes over the Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park at 7pm Wednesday, March 13 featuring headliner Mitchell Tenpenny with Local 518 fave Vinnie Michaels.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Beck just won the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album on Sunday, and now he’s headed out on a serious alt-rock tour with Cage the Elephant, Spoon and Sunflower Bean, who will al be making a stop at the Saratoga Perfroming Arts Center this summer. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 12noon on Friday (February 15).

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Laissez les bons temps rouler! The Cohoes Music Hall is hosting a Mardi Gras party featuring soulful Grammy Award-winning Louisiana singer-accordionist Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience with Professor Louie & The Crowmatix. Tickets are on sale now.

In Northampton, Tyler Ramsey – formerly of Band of Horses – heads into the Iron Horse Music Hall at 10pm on Friday, April 26, in support of his new album For the Morning, slated for release on April 5. Tickets are $15 in advance; $18 at the door. Also new on the Iron Horse concert calendar are the western swing faves Hot Club of Cowtown at 7pm on Wednesday, July 24. Tickets are $17.50 in advance; $20 at the door.

New shows at Colony in Woodstock include a funk-filled AfroBeat dance party with the Brighton Beat at 8pm on Friday, March 1 ($10 in advance; $12 at the door); a Mardi Gras Masquerade party featuring the B Boyz, Brass Refuge and DJ Shaman Vybez at 8pm Saturday, March 2 ($10 in advance; $15 at the door); Shana Falana with Sound of Ceres at 8pm on Friday, March 29 ($10 in advance; $12 at the door); Session Americana at 9pm on Thursday, April 11 ($10 in advance; $12 at the door); and Yeasayer at 9pm on Sunday, April 14 ($20 in advance; $25 at the door).

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Led by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson, veteran rockers Heart are headed back to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center this summer with special guests Sheryl Crow and Lucie Silvas in support. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am Friday (February 15).

UPDATE: Trinity the Tuck has been added to the line-up of performers for A Midsummer Slay drag show at the Palace Theatre on July 26, joining the previously announced Mone’t X Change, Tatianna and Derrick Barry.
