The Egg Announces Six New Concerts

The Egg has announced a half-dozen new concerts. Tickets for all of the newly announced concerts are currently available to members of The Egg and will go on sale to the general public at 11am Friday (December 14), except for Adrian Belew, whose tickets are now on sale.

Friday, March 1, 8pm
The two-time Grammy winner exploded onto the music scene in 1978 and has made a career of fearlessly experimenting with her sound and persona over the course of 15 critically acclaimed albums. She brings her mixed bag of jazz, rock and folk songs that she has been cultivating for over 40 years as one of pop music’s most intriguing artists.
Sunday, March 17, 7pm
A solo piano concert by George Winston featuring selections from his seasonal favorites performed in his melodic folk style, as well as some New Orleans R&B, stride piano and more.
JOSHUA REDMAN QUARTET
Friday, March 29, 8pm
One of the most esteemed and charismatic artists of our time, the ceaselessly innovative saxophonist Joshua Redman performs with his quartet – Aaron Goldberg (piano), Reuben Rogers (bass) and Gregory Hutchinson (drums) in celebration of their new recording due for release in March.

The multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer and guitar guru has released 20 critically acclaimed solo records and was the frontman, singer, co-writer and guitarist for progressive rock powerhouse King Crimson for 30 years. This time around he’s playing with his new quartet, featuring Jordan Perlson (drums), Saul Zonana (keyboards, guitar, vocals) and Julie Slick (bass) in support of his new album, Pop-Sided, slated for release in March.
