MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Jam For Pat Nolan @ the Strand Theatre, Hudson Falls. Shu, The Minivans, Out on the Tiles and members of Capital Zen gather to play and raise funds for local electric bass legend Pat Nolan following his recent hospital stay. 3pm. $10 suggested donation.

MUSIC: The Kevin Prater Band @ the Parting Glass, Saratoga Springs. The Kentucky-based bluegrass band rolls into the Spa City in support of their latest album, All I Ever Wanted. With Shine Hill Road. 1pm. $15.

MUSIC: A Joyful Noise @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. It’s a gospel brunch as Garland Nelson leads the Inspirational Voices gospel choir for an afternoon of joyful noise. Songs range from traditional gospel and contemporary church music to soulful pop classics to accompany delicious brunch fare from Hattie’s Restaurant. 1pm. $37.

EVENT: Children’s Holiday Extravaganza @ the Colonial Theatre, Pittsfield. Entertainment, face painting, popcorn, pizza, gift bags, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, raffles, prizes and more. 12noon. FREE; food donations accepted.

THEATER: “4 by Ives” @ Mescal Hornbeck Community Center, Woodstock. Performing Arts of Woodstock presents a quartet of one-act comedies penned by David Ives and directed by Lora Lee Ecobelli. 1:30pm. $23; students/seniors $20. Through Sunday, December 2.
