THEATER: War of the Worlds @ Colony, Woodstock. Orson Welles & Mercury Theater’s original 1938 radio broadcast re-created live on stage Theatre on the Road. Directed by Frank Marquette. 7:30pm. $15; seniors/kids under 12 $12.

TALK/MUSIC: Rochmon Record Club Halloween Listening and Costume Party @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Chuck Vosganian presents an in-depth, multimedia examination of Queen’s Night at the Opera. 7pm. $8.
