MUSIC: The Brubeck Brothers Quartet @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Drummer Dan Brubeck and bassist-trombonist Chris Brubeck recorded together for the first time more than a half-century ago. These days, they’re joined by keyboardist Chuck Lamb and guitarist Mike DeMicco. Expect an evening of straight-ahead jazz with a few curveballs along the way. 7pm. $47. Also at 7pm on Wednesday.

ARTIST TALK: “Mickey Mouse has grown up a Cow” @ UAlbany University Art Museum, Albany. Curator Joe Mama-­Nitzberg and exhibiting artist Abbey Williams will discuss the works in this exhibition, which is on view through Saturday (September 15). 4:30pm. FREE.

TALK: Beatriz Colomina @ Clark Art Institute, Williamstown. The Princeton University professor of architecture presents, “The Secret Life of Modern Architecture, or We Don’t Need Another Hero,” a discussion of women in architecture. 5:30pm. FREE.
