The Egg Announces Three New Concerts

0

The folks at The Egg announced a couple of new concerts earlier this week, and now they’re back with three more shows. Here are all the details…

MAKE COMEDY GREAT AGAIN
Saturday, November 3, 8pm
Hart Theatre, $35 in advance; $40 at the door
Tickets are on sale now.
Featuring Jeff Allen, Ross Bennett, Earl David Reed and Brad Upton.

THE SUFFERS
Wednesday, November 14, 7:30pm
$29.50
Led by vocalist Kam Franklin, the eight-piece, Houston-based band is a contemporary version of the great funkateers of ’70s and ’80s – a heaping dose of soul, a dash of reggae, a splash of jazz, a pinch of salsa, a hint of rock ‘n’ roll and a dollop of hip-hop.

KARLA BONOFF
Friday, May 10, 8pm
Swyer Theatre, $29.50
Karla Bonoff’s compositions dominated the pop charts in the ’70s, and her own versions of such classics as “I Can’t Hold On,” “Isn’t It Always Love,” “Lose Again” and “Someone to Lay Down Beside Me” demonstrate how well they have stood the test of time.
