The Dead Boys ain’t dead. In fact, led by founding members Cheetah Chrome and Johnny Blitz, they’re roarin’ into the Low Beat at 8pm on Friday, September 14 in support of their 2017 album, Still Snotty: Young, Loud and Snotty at 40, a re-recording of their 1977 Genya Ravan-produced debut album. Advance tickets are on sale now, priced at $15.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The line-up of bands – including Kitten, Superorganism, Good Fiction, the Greeting Committee and White Reaper – has been announced for downtown Albany’s annual free street festival, PearlPalooza.
Woodstock singer-songwriter Amy Helm celebrates the release of her sophomore solo album, This Too Shall Light, with a return to the Cohoes Music Hall at 8pm on Thursday, September 27. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday, Priced at $25, $30 & $35.
The Linda has bolstered its schedule with a handful of new concerts, including Natalie Prass at 8pm on Wednesday, July 11 ($15 in advance; $18 at the door); the Capital Region Blues Network’s IBC Battle of the Blues Bands featuring Fade To Blues, Misty Blues and Doc Orloff’s Blues Elixir at 7pm on Friday, July 14 ($12); NPR Music’s 2016 Tiny Desk Contest winner Gaelynn Lea at 8pm on Thursday, July 19 ($12); and Prince Daddy & the Hyena with Kississippi, Jouska, Save Face and Who Loves You at 8pm on Saturday, August 4 ($12).

Musical maverick Michael Hurley steps into the spotlight at Colony in Woodstock at 8pm on Friday, September 21. Tickets are $15 in advance; $20 at the door.

’80s rocker Kip Winger plays an unplugged show at King Neptune’s Pub in Lake George at 7pm on Thursday, July 19. Tickets are on sale now priced at $10.
