FESTIVAL/MUSIC: Americade Block Party @ Canada Street, Lake George. It’s Day One of the new Americade street festival the Phil Smage Stunt Show, the Busted Knuckles Stunt Tour, riding demonstrations, fun activities, craft beers and music by Paradox Saints, Big Sky Country, Kat Wright and the Mallett Brothers Band. 3pm. MUSIC: Tin Can Alley @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. It’s the debut of the new musical mash-up of Ramblin Jug Stompers and the McKrells as Mister Eck and Wild Bill joining forces with Kevin & Katie McKrell. Lots of old school folk sing-alongs and lots of fun… 8pm. $18.

MUSIC: Black Pistol Fire @ the Hollow Bar + Kitchen, Albany. The high-octane rock duo based out of Austin by way of Toronto, featuring Kevin McKeown on guitar/lead vocals and Eric Owen on drums. With The Abyssmals. 9pm. $21.

OPERA: Aleda or The Flight of the Suff Bird Women @ CLYNK, Glenville. The Musicians of Ma’alwyck present Max Caplan’s one-act chamber opera about a unique women’s suffrage demonstration attempted by early female pilot Leda Richberg-Hornsby and the National American Woman Suffrage Association. 7pm. $25; students $10. Through Sunday.

DANCE: National Ballet of Cuba @ Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Springs. Last chance! It’s the final performance of the three-night stand. Based on a fairy tale about a peasant girl who falls in love with a dashing prince disguised as a commoner, “Giselle” follows its heroine through a haunting story of betrayal, heartbreak, forgiveness and redemption. 8pm.

FESTIVAL/MUSIC: Disc Jam Music Festival @ Gardner’s Farm, Stephentown. It’s Day Two of the four-day jam band fest, and today’s line-up features Galactic, The Motet, Kung Fu, Strange Machines, DJ Logic & Friends, the Nth Power, Ghost-Note, Mammal Dap, the A Beez and lots more on four stages. MUSIC: The Black Lillies @ the Hangar on the Hudson, Troy. The Americana faves are an internationally-renowned band of roots-rockers, armed with songs that blur the boundaries between folk, soul, red dirt country, blues and rock. 8pm. $15.

FESTIVAL/MUSIC: A Taste of Country Music Festival @ Hunter Mountain, Hunter. It’s Day One of the three-day fest. Today’s line-up features Florida Georgia Line, Dustin Lynch, Kane Brown, Devin Dawson, Jimmie Allen. Music starts at 3pm. Through Sunday.

MUSIC: Iris DeMent @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. Since her debut in 1992 with Infamous Angel, the singer-songwriter has been regarded in musical circles as an authentic living legend, the last of fourteen children born in a Pentecostal household in Arkansas, who spent her childhood immersed in gospel and traditional country music. 9pm. $35 & $45.

THEATER: La Ronde @ the Frear House, Troy. Troy Foundry Theatre presents a site-specific adaptation of Arthur Schnitzler’s controversial play directed by Brenna Geffers, who has been hailed for her immersive theater direction. Originally written and banned in 1890’s Vienna, this new production reexamines the original hypocrisy and nihilism while deconstructing assumptions of gender and orientation. 8pm. $15; students and seniors $10. Through Saturday, June 9.

MUSIC: The Holly & Evan Band @ On Tap Bar at the Latham Holiday Inn Express, Latham. They’re back with their blend of blues, soul and roots rockin’. 5:30pm. FREE.

MUSIC: Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams @ Colony, Woodstock. The acclaimed husband-and-wife Americana duo steps into the Woodstock spotlight. With James Hearne. 8pm. $45.

MUSIC: Sawyer Fredericks @ Sherman’s Amusement Park, Caroga Lake. “The Voice” winner kicks off the Caroga Lake Music Festival. 7pm. FREE.

MUSIC: BoDeans @ Levon Helm Studios, Woodstock. Founding member Kurt Neumann leads the veteran roots rockers into Woodstock. With Trapper Schoepp. 8pm. $35 & $55.
