MUSIC: Def Leppard and Journey @ Times Union Center, Albany. “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Lights,” “Rock of Ages,” “Photograph,” “Faithfully”… Yes, it’s a hit-packed co-headlining tour. 7pm. $49.50, $69.50, $99.50 & $179.50.

MUSIC: Joe K. Walsh @ the Cock ‘n Bull, Galway. After his previously scheduled show was snowed out, the acclaimed mandolin master returns. He’s toured with countless artists, collaborated with other master musicians like Darol Anger and the Gibson Brothers, founded the progressive stringband Joy Kills Sorrow in the early 2000s, and is currently on faculty at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. 7:30pm. $15.

MUSIC: Bob Dylan Birthday Bash @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. Pat O’Shea (formerly of Levon Helm’s band) leads a tribute to Dylan on the eve of his 77th birthday. 8pm. $15.

THEATER: Typhoid Mary @ Barrington Stage Company’ St. Germain Stage, Pittsfield. Matthew Penn directs Mark St. Germain’s searing drama about Mary Mallon (aka Typhoid Mary) and the controversy surrounding her steadfast conviction in her beliefs. The play not only examines the woman behind the myths, but also explores the battle between science and religion. 7:30pm. UPDATE: This performance is now officially sold out. Through Saturday, June 16.

MUSIC: Jeanne O’Connor @ the Glass Tavern, Schenectady. The jazz singer is accompanied by keyboardist Azzaam Hameed. 6pm.

COMEDY: Nene Leakes @ the Funny Bone, Guilderland. UPDATE: This performance has been cancelled…

MUSIC: The Deadbeats @ the Low Beat, Albany. If it’s Wednesday, it must be the Deadbeats… 10pm.

THEATER: The Curious End of Ezekiel Williams @ the Colonial Theatre, Pittsfield. As Inspector Dullard strives to justify the murder of an innocent man, a story of brotherhood, broken bonds and rebirth is uncovered in this original play is written and directed by Monument Mountain Regional High School student Benjamin Zoeller. 7pm. FREE.

JAM SESSION/OPEN MIC: Saratoga Acoustic Blues Society Jam Session @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Sonny Speed hosts with featured artist Robin O’Herrin. 7pm sign-up; 7:30pm music.

OPEN MIC: “The Wrong Show” @ River Street Pub, Troy. Definitely not your typical open mic, this is a cash prize talent game show hosted by Ragliacci with three guest judges assigned the task of scoring the wackiest, wiliest and weirdest performances this side of the Hudson. 7:30pm sign-up; 8pm start. FREE admission; $5 to compete.

    Minor correction…Def Leppard/Journey concert is listed for a 7:00 start. Can you confirm that Journey will take the stage first? Thanks!

    Yes, the start time for the concert has apparently changed since it was first announced back in January. 7pm is the current listing. No idea who goes on first…
