TALK: Conversation with Nick Cave: So What Do You Want to Know? @ the Academy of Music, Northampton. An evening of conversation and open discussion, inspired by Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds’ 2017 world tour and Cave’s evolving relationship with his audiences. 8pm. $39.50-$79.50.
MUSIC: The Steel Wheels @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Renowned for their raw energy and chemistry on stage, this dynamic four-piece string band from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia address the joys and sorrows of home, family and community through the voice of old-time musical traditions. 7pm. $30. TALK: Eugene Lee @ UAlbany Performing Arts Center’s Studio Theatre, Albany. The legendary Broadway set designer has won three Tony Awards for his work on Leonard Bernstein’s Candide, Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd and Gregory Maguire’s Wicked. He has also served as the production designer for “Saturday Night Live” since its 1975 premiere, “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” and “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” His memoir, “The Adventures of Eugene Lee,” was published in 2014. 7:30pm.
