One of America’s leading broadcast journalists, Cokie Roberts will moderate a panel discussion with Danielle Belton (editor-in-chief of The Root), Jill Stein (the Green Party’s nominee for President of the United States in 2012 and 2016) and Kathy Sheehan (the first female mayor of Albany) about the challenges and opportunities facing women in America today. 7:30pm. THEATER: “Blithe Spirit” @ Capital Repertory Theatre, Albany. One highly spirited wife is fun, but two is fertile ground for this smash comedy hit of the London and Broadway stages from the witty pen of Noël Coward. Meet cantankerous novelist Charles Condomine (Gary Lindemann), re-married to Ruth (Brenny Rabine) but haunted (literally) by the ghost of his late first wife, the clever and insistent Elvira (Yvonne Perry), who has been conjured up by a visiting “happy medium,” one Madame Arcati (Eileen Schuyler). 7:30pm.
