When You're Paper Thin: John Hiatt reunites with The Goners at The Egg

A half-dozen new concerts have been announced for The Egg. Tickets for the newly announced concerts are currently available exclusively to members of The Egg and will go on sale to the general public on Friday (April 20).

Here are the details for the new shows:

AMANDA SHIRES

On her latest album My Piece of Land, the critically acclaimed singer-songwriter-violinist Amanda Shires contemplates love, fear, stability, self-esteem and even anxiety, which she beautifully articulates through her thoughtful lyrics and emotive vocals. She honed her chops playing fiddle with the Texas Playboys, John Prine, Billy Joe Shaver, Todd Snider, Justin Townes Earle and most recently her husband Jason Isbell, who she played with at the Palace Theatre in January.

THE BACON BROTHERS

The folk-rockin’ siblings Michael and Kevin Bacon bring their band to The Egg.

John Hiatt reunites with The Goners featuring slide guitar virtuoso Sonny Landreth to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of their classic album, Slow Turning – playing it in its entirety along with other gems from his treasured songbook.

The world-class jazz guitarist and singer of standards John Pizzarelli joins forces with jazz-blues vocalist Catherine Russell in a program titled “Billy and Blue Eyes,” a tribute to Billie Holiday and Frank Sinatra.
