Due to our snowy winter, bassist-bandleader Scott Petito’s Traffic tribute band Paper Sun (first under a new name) made only its second ever appearance at the Van Dyck in Schenectady’s Van Dyck recently, playing a pair of shows on Friday, March 30 with an all-star line-up of Hudson Valley musicians. As would be expected, the band was tighter than they were at their debut back in December at Club Helsinki in Hudson.

UPCOMING: The next Petito tribute project to hit Greater Nippertown, Shadows and Light, will pay musical homage to Joni Mitchell at the Maureen Stapleton Theatre at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy on Friday, April 27. Shadows and Light is also scheduled to perform at Club Helsinki in Hudson on Saturday, May 5.
