Headbangin’ & Rockabilly Rockin’

Get ready to do some serious headbangin’. Hometown death metal heroes Skinless are back in the saddle, and they’re ready once again to trample the weak and hurdle the dead with their new album, Savagery, slated for release on May 11. And in support of the new album, the band is jumping back onstage, leading a BIG record release bash at Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park at 6:30pm on Saturday, June 9. How big, you ask? So big that UCH will boast two stages, featuring Disciples of Berkowitz, Ringworm, Churchburn, Outer Heaven, Axeslasher, Armor Column and The Broken, in addition to Skinless. Tickets go on sale at 10am today, and the first 75 tickets will be sold at a special Friday the 13th price – just $13. After those are sold, advance tickets will be priced at $22, while tickets sold at the door will be $25, if there are any still available.

And that isn’t the only big club show going on sale at 10am today (Friday, April 13). In support of his latest album, Undivided Heart & Soul, roots-rockin’ favorite J.D. McPherson and his band are returning to the Hangar on the Hudson in Troy for a two-night stand – at 8pm on Saturday & Sunday, July 21 & 22. Tickets are $25.
