Palace Theatre Announces New Concerts

Albany’s Palace Theatre welcomes the internationally renowned ensemble William Close & the Earth Harp Collective in concert at 8pm on Tuesday, May 8. The stunning centerpiece of the concert will be the Earth Harp — an instrument invented and created by William Close – whose giant strings will run from the stage out over the audience, transforming the theater itself into an instrument and allowing the audience to experience the music literally from within the instrument.

The concert is a benefit for Sock Out Cancer with net proceeds going to the foundations of Albany Medical Center and St. Peter’s Hospital. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $38, $48 & $58.
