MUSIC: The Revelers @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. The kick-ass Cajun band brings their mix of “Louisiana jukebox music” and “swamp-pop” to town in support of their latest Grammy-nominated album, Get Ready. 9pm. $25.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: “One Stroke Roll” @ the Hollow Bar + Kitchen, Albany. A year ago drummer-about-town Greg Nash suffered a life-threatening stroke, but with unbridled determination he’s fought his way back to the drum throne. Many of his bands and friends – including Aerosmith tribute band Toys in the Attic, Blasé Debris, Rolling Stones tribute band Stripped, Black Sabbath tribute band Walpurgis and Maryanne – are donating their talents for this benefit for the Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation in Schenectady. 8pm. $10 donation.

MUSIC: The Cause @ the Low Beat, Albany. The Syracuse-based rock trio of Mike Lisi, Pete Szymanski and Tim Nolan were an upstate fave back in the ’80s, but all good things come to an end. MUSIC: Dave Maswick & Joel Brown @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Maswick is the longtime bassist for local heroes the Stony Creek Band (not to mention his stint as the keyboardist in Blotto). Brown is a guitar master who has played with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and the Boston Pops. 8pm. $22.

THEATER: “Frankie & Johnny in the Clair de Lune” @ the Bridge Street Theatre, Catskill. Directed by Sara Lampert Hoover, Terrence McNally’s intimate play examines the tug of war between a short-order cook who sees a lifetime of love and adventure ahead and a waitress who’s been burned too many times in the past and is terrified of being hurt again. COMEDY: Demetri Martin @ the Academy of Music, Northampton. The oh-so-wry guy melds comedy and music on his Let’s Get Awkward Tour with a deft hand, sharp wit and a surreal bent. 8pm. $35.

MUSIC: Sylvan Esso @ MASS MoCA’s Hunter Center, North Adams. Singer Amelia Meath (of the Bennington band Mountain Man) and producer Nick Sanborn (of psychedelic folksters Megafaun) create effortless, wonderful electronic pop music that twists and turns, constantly reinventing itself. OPERA: “The Ugly Duckling” @ Saratoga Public Library, Saratoga Springs. Opera Saratoga will present Opera-To-Go performances of Andrew Duncan’s opera based on the classic Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale. 11am. FREE.

BURLESQUE: Bing Bamboo Room Burlesque @ Hudson Harbor Steak & Seafood House, Albany. The long-running troupe presents its Easter special, “Peep Show,” a night of “eggcellent,” hard-boiled, tinted and hidden burlesque wanting to be uncovered. 8pm. $20.

MUSIC: Particle @ Putnam Place, Saratoga Springs. Livetronica pioneers. 9pm. FREE.
