CONVERSATION: The Creative Life Series: Garth Fagan @ UAlbany Performing Arts Center’s Main Theatre, Albany. The Jamaican-born founder and artistic director of the award-winning and internationally acclaimed Garth Fagan Dance, now in its 47th season, was lauded for his innovative choreography for Disney’s musical The Lion King, earning a Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, Tony Award and the Laurence Olivier Award. He also received the American Dance Guild’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017. Tonight he’ll engage in conversation with WAMC-FM’s Joe Donahue. 7pm. FREE.
