MUSIC: Billy Cobham’s Crosswinds Project @ The Egg’s Swyer Theatre, Albany. Widely regarded as one of the world’s great drummers and revered for his musical ingenuity, the jazz fusion virtuoso has been an integral part of such seminal bands as Miles Davis’ electric band and John McLaughlin’s Mahavishnu Orchestra. Tonight he revisits his classic album Crosswinds with saxophonist Paul Hanson, guitarist Fareed Haque, bassist Tim Landers and keyboardist Scott Tibbs. 7:30pm. $34.
