CONVERSATION: Neil Gaiman and John Cameron Mitchell @ Bard College’s Fisher Center, Annandale-On-Hudson. Bard Professor in the Arts and bestselling author Neil Gaiman welcomes director-writer-performer John Cameron Mitchell (“Hedwig and the Angry Inch,” “Shortbus”), who recently directed a film adaptation of Gaiman’s short story “How to Talk to Girls at Parties.” 8pm. $25.

THEATER: “The Exonerated” @ Siena College’s Roger Bacon Auditorium, Loudonville. Soul Rebel Performance Troupe serves up a staged reading of Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen’s play which uses court transcripts, interviews and letters to recount, in their own words, the true stories of six Americans who were convicted and sentenced to death for crimes they did not commit. 7pm. $10.
