MUSIC: Dumpstaphunk @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. Keyboardist Ivan Neville – son of Aaron Neville and former member of Keith Richards’ X-Pensive Winos – leads his New Orleans funk-jam outfit through their syncopated Crescent City grooves. 9pm. $25.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: The 5th Annual Dustin Mele Benefit for Suicide Prevention @ Brown’s Revolution Hall, Troy. Veteran Troy guitar hero Joe Mele has once again organized an all-star benefit bash to raise funds for suicide prevention in memory of his son. Featuring Soul Sky, Super 400, Emerald City and a reunion of the original line-up of the Burners UK. A benefit for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Rensselaer County Department of Mental Health Intervention Services. 6pm. $20 suggested minimum donation.

MUSIC: NEQ @ Spencertown Academy, Spencertown. Guitarist Todd Nelson leads one of Greater Nippertown’s most defiantly eclectic (and danceable) bands. THEATER: “The Humans” @ Proctors, Schenectady. The 2016 Tony Award winner for Best Play, the angst, anguish and amity of the American middle class are first coaxed – then shoved – into the light in this uproarious, hopeful, and heartbreaking play that takes place over the course of a family dinner on Thanksgiving. ART/FASHION: Re-Imagined: A Fashion & Art Collaboration @ Hyde House, Glens Falls. Electric City Couture and 2440 Design Studio present fashion designs inspired by the Hyde Collection’s exhibition Alphonse Mucha: Master of Art Nouveau on living mannequins contextualized in Hyde House in homage to the artist. The works of three regional stylists – Kim Vanyo of Khymanyo Studio, Tara Holmes of Tiane Novati and Yvonne McEachron of layered design, will be featured. 7:30pm. $20, includes light fare and a cash bar.

    look at the wide array of entertainment available . We live in an amazing place– reasonable pricing, tickets often available close to showtime- decent venues and dedicated local talent and entertainment lovers like Nippertown who perform and promote the arts
