Amy Helm is gearing up for her second annual Woodshed Residency Tour in April, which includes three Sunday evening gigs at Albany’s Hollow Bar + Kitchen – April 8, 15 & 22 at 7pm. Tickets are $16. Her tour also includes residencies at The Falcon in Marlboro on Mondays April 9, 16 & 23, as well as the Parlor Room in Northampton at 7pm on Wednesdays April 11, 18 & 25 ($20 in advance; $25 at the door).

Troy troubadour Sean Rowe has scheduled another homecoming concert at the Hangar on the Hudson in at 8pm on Friday, March 23. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $20.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Tanglewood in Lenox has added a pair of new concerts to its summer schedule, including David Crosby & Friends with Mary Chapin Carpenter and the duo of Chris Hillman & Herb Pederson; and the double-bill of Ry Cooder and Emmylou Harris.

The Indigo Girls are slated to make a tour stop at Skidmore College’s Zankel Music Center in Saratoga Springs at 8pm on Saturday, May 12, but if you haven’t already snagged your tickets you might be out of luck. Tickets sold out in seven minutes.

Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock has bolstered its calendar with the addition of jam band pioneers Max Creek at 8pm on Saturday, April 14 ($25 & $30) and award-winning bluegrass favorites the Steep Canyon Rangers at 8pm on Friday, April 20 ($45 & $75). And going on sale at 6pm today (Wednesday, February 21), it’s the return of the Fab Faux at 8pm on Friday, April 27 ($65 & $100).

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival at Saratoga Performing Arts Center has revealed the line-up of bands for the two-day fest, including Herbie Hancock, Mavis Staples, Joey Alexander, Chris Botti, Jose James, John Batiste & the Dap Kings, Gregory Porter and lots more. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am on Thursday, March 1.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: There have been new additions to the line-up for CountryFest at Saratoga Performing Arts Center, including Dan + Shay, Maddie & Tae, Carly Pearce and Local 518 fave Chelsea Sulkey.

Club Helsinki in Hudson has added new shows by The Revelers at 9pm on Saturday, March 31, and The Huntress and Holder of Hands at 9pm on Saturday, May 11. Ticket prices $TBA.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Keith Urban is headed into Saratoga Performing Arts Center with Kelsea Ballerini opening the show. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday (February 23).

WGNA’s second annual Heartstrings For Hope Show to benefit St. Judes is slated for the Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park at 8pm on Sunday (February 25)featuring Luke Combs and Vinnie Michaels. Tickets are $15 in advance. On the opposite end of the music spectrum UCH also welcomes Tool tribute band Schism on Saturday, April 7 with Rahway opening the show at 7:30pm. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday (February 23), priced at $15 in advance; $20 at the door.

Paul de Jong (formerly of The Books) will be performing selections from his new album You F*cken Sucker at Time + Space Ltd. in Hudson at 7pm on Friday, April 13. Tickets are on sale now priced at $12.50; students $10.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Second generation Americana favorite Justin Townes Earle is returning to The Egg for a solo concert. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 11am on Friday (February 23).

Rockabilly hellcat Kim Lenz & the Jaguars tear into the Ale House in Troy at 9pm on Monday, May 19. Tickets are $10.

Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs will play host to teen rap star from the Bronx Smooky MarGielaa at 9pm on Friday, March 9. Tickets are $20 in advance; $25 at the door; $60 VIP.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The initial line-up of bands for the eighth annual Disc Jam Music Festival at Gardner’s Farm in Stephentown has been announced, including Lotus, Beats Antique, Galactic, The Motet, Electron, Jon “The Barber” Gutwillig, DJ Logic & Friends, Gubbulidis, Kung Fu, Moon Hooch, Aqueous, Ghost Note, Tom Marshall’s Amfibian All-Stars, Ghost Light and lots more.

Tribute band Eaglemania wings their way into the Wood Theater in Glens Falls at 7:30pm on Friday, March 30. And Fleetwood Mac tribute band Tusk takes the stage at 7:30 on Saturday, April 14. Tickets are $44 for each show.

Colony in Woodstock has bolstered its concert calendar with several new additions, including award-winning blues-rock organist Bruce Katz and his band at 8pm on Saturday, March 24 ($15 in advance; $18 at the door); soul singer Remember Jones and her 12-piece band pay tribute to Amy Winehouse at 8pm on Friday, May 4 ($15 in advance; $20 at the door); and Carla Cooke offers a musical homage to her father, the late great Sam Cooke, at 8pm on Saturday, May 12 ($15 in advance; $20 at the door).

Bassist-producer Scott Petito brings his Hudson Valley all-star ensemble – featuring Gail Ann Dorsey, Veronica Nunn, Leslie Ritter, Jay Collins, Danny Blume, Roberto Rodriguez, Travis Shook and Rachel Z – to Hudson Valley Community College in Troy for a concert tribute to “The Music of Joni Mitchell” at 7pm on Friday, April 27, at the HVCC Siek Campus Center’s Maureen Stapleton Theatre. Tickets are $10.

OPENERS: Trailer Park Moonlight opens for John “Dr. Dirty” Valby at Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park on Saturday (February 24)… Also at UCH, Slenderbodies and Candy Ambulance will open for PVRIS at 8pm on Thursday, May 3.
