MUSIC: Paradigm Shift @ the Cock ‘N Bull, Galway. Led by guitarist Melvin Henderson, the Rochester-based organ trio melds neo-jazz with organic, funky grooves and street-level ambiance. 7pm. $10 suggested donation.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Frank Jaklitsch Legacy Concert @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. One of Greater Nippertown’s most popular and generous singer-songwriters Frank Jaklitsch died suddenly in 2016, and the Caffe pays tribute to his spirit with a benefit concert for SongwritingWith:Soldiers, an organization that “transforms lives by using collaborative songwriting to expand creativity, connections and strengths.” Featuring Jaklitsch’s former bandmates Good Things (Michael Eck, Bobby Long and Kathi Quinlan) and longtime pals Kevin McKrell, Amy Collins and others. 7pm. $20.
