New Concert Announced for Cohoes Music Hall

It’s the Sonic Spindle Experience!

At 7pm on September 30, the Cohoes Music Hall will host the Sonic Spindle Experience, an “extrasensory concert happening” featuring a decade’s worth of music from 1967’s Summer of Love through to 1977.

Three bands will put a psychedelic spin on the evening – Backward Dreams, the Stone Revival Band and The Wheel, churning out selections from the songbags of Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Blind Faith and the Allman Brothers, to name just a few.

And as the official blurbage states, “We will be transforming the Cohoes Music Hall into a rock palace complete with psychedelic light show, killer sounds and a fluid, friendly general admission dance party vibe. And as an added bonus, we’re filming a movie ala ‘The Last Waltz,’ and you too can find your way on to the silver screen if you dance your socks off!”

Tickets are priced at $28 and go on sale to general public at 10am on Friday (June 23).
