Usually the concert action slows down to something of a trickle at The Egg during the summertime rather than trying to compete with SPAC, Tanglewood and all the myriad summer-only venues and concert series.

But not this summer… The folks at The Egg announced a new concert on Monday, and then another one earlier today. But now three more – count ’em, 3 – new concerts have been announced.

Tickets for all three new, new shows are currently available exclusively to members of The Egg and will go on sale to the general public at 11am on Friday (April 14).

Here are the details:

BODEANS
Saturday, May 13, 8pm
$29.50
Since their chart-topping songs like “Fadeaway,” “Only Love,” and “Dreams” won them the Rolling Stone Readers’ Poll for Best New American Band in 1987, BoDeans have remained true to their sound and style, and their heartland roots-rock sound. They’re celebrating their 30th anniversary with a new album, Thirteen (due out on April 21).

BIG HEAD TODD & THE MONSTERS
Thursday, May 18, 7:30pm
$29.50, $34.50 & $39.50
Since their formation in the mid-’80s, and their rise to national recognition in the ’90s with their hit “Bittersweet,” Big Head Todd & the Monsters have continued to evolve and explore, becoming one of the more adventurous and durable bands in America.

BUDDY GUY
Tuesday, August 15, 7:30pm
$49.50, $59.50 & $79.50
Chicago blues icon Buddy Guy – ranked 30th in Rolling Stone’s list of “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” – returns to The Egg with his electrifying show. Still going strong at the age of 80, he was honored with his seventh Grammy Award in 2016 for his most recent album, Born to Play Guitar.
