New Zealand electro-popsters the Naked and Famous step into the spotlight at the Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park at 8pm on Sunday, June 11. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday (April 7), priced at $10.27 for the first 102 tickets; then $25 in advance; $28 at the door.

The Half Moon in Hudson welcomes back musical outsider Michael Hurley at 7pm on Saturday, April 15 with Willy Mason and Tom Carter opening the show. Tickets are $15. Also on tap at the Half Moon is Charlie Parr at 8pm on Wednesday, May 10 with Lorkin O’Reilly and Brett Miller. Tickets are $10.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: In support of Salutations, his new album released just last month, indie rock icon Conor Oberst is hitting the road for a tour that includes a stop at the Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park. Hop Along will open the show. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday (April 7).
Michale Graves of the Misfits returns to Greater Nippertown on Wednesday, June 21 to headline a show at Trick Shot Billiards in Clifton Park. Joining him on the bill will be Totally Gnarly, Blase DeBris, One Day Waiting, the Outnumbered and Hungry Jack, who are slated to kick off the evening’s festivities at 6pm. Tickets are $10 in advance; $12 at the door.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown has bolstered its summer concert calendar with the addition of Foster the People. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday (April 7).
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: In support of their upcoming album, What Now (due out on April 28), the indie pop/electro-folk duo Sylvan Esso – featuring Amelia Randall Meath of Mountain Man and Nicholas Sanborn of Megafaun – is slated to make their Greater Nippertown debut at Jupiter Hall in Guilderland.
Club Helsinki in Hudson has announced a batch of new shows, including the Dust Bowl Faeries and Luis Mojica teaming up for “Tears of the Clouds: A Musical Ritual for the Earth” at 8pm on Sunday, May 7 ($10); Kimock led by jam-band guitar hero Steve Kimock at 9pm on Saturday, June 10 ($28 & $35); and Lucero with Banditos at 8pm on Tuesday, June 27 ($25 & $35).
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Cohoes Music Hall has announced two new shows – the Eric Johnson Electric Band and comedy duo the Supermoms. Tickets for both shows go on sale at 10am on Friday (April 7).
At 7pm on Saturday, May 6, Jazz in GTown presents jazz saxman-composer T.K. Blue with his band – bassist Essiet Okon Essiet, pianist Zaccai Curtison and drummer George Coleman, Jr. – in concert at the Clermont Vineyards and Winery in Germantown, as they celebrate the release of their new album, Amour. Tickets are $25, which includes a glass of wine.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Godfather of the British Blues John Mayall is heading back to Greater Nippertown, this time playing at the Cohoes Music Hall.
Two major players on the Saratoga music scene – Saratoga Performing Arts Center and Caffe Lena – have teamed up to co-present a series of concerts. Earlier this month it was a pair of sold-out shows by Darlingside. And at 7pm on Saturday, April 25, the series will continue with the Local 518 debut of St. Luke’s Chamber Ensemble at Caffe Lena. Tickets are $45 and currently available.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: FLY-92’s annual Summer Jam celebration is coming back in the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, featuring Flo Rida with Sabrina Carpenter, Bebe Rexha and Daniel Skye. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday (April 7).
Jimi Hendrix tribute band Kiss the Sky is headed into the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock on Wednesday, May 3. Chogyi Lama opens the show at 9pm. Tickets are $15 in advance; $20 at the door. And British bluesmaster John Mayall steps into the spotlight at 8pm on Sunday, June 4 with Bill Carter opening the show. (Tickets $TBA.)
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The annual Americade motorcycle festival in Lake George is hosting the Bikes, Brews & BBQ festival at Wood Park featuring Molly Hatchet with Commander Cody & His Modern Day Airmen and the Mallett Brothers Band. Tickets are on sale now.
Prisoners of 2nd Avenue (featuring Jimmy Vivino, John Conte and Rich Pagano) land at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock at 8pm on Saturday, July 29, recreating the spirit of Bill Graham’s Fillmore East with classic blues-rock selections from the mid-’60s through the early-’70s. Tickets are $30 & $35.
