FEST: Solid Sound Announces Comedy Line-Up
Hosted as usual by comedian John Hodgman, the comedy stage will present three shows in MASS MoCA’s Hunter Center on Saturday, June 24.
Joining Hodgman will be Michael Ian Black (“Wet Hot American Summer”), Eugene Mirman (“Bob’s Burgers”), Aparna Nancherla (“Late Night with Seth Meyers”), Nick Offerman (“Parks & Recreation”), plus Jean Grae’s “The Show Show” with DJ Quelle Chris.
Comedy complements the previously-announced musical line-up for this year’s fest that features two headlining sets by festival hosts Wilco plus performances by Television, Kurt Vile & the Violators, Robert Glasper Experiment, Dawn of Midi, Dave Alvin and Phil Alvin with the Guilty Ones, Kevin Morby, Joan Shelley, Big Thief, Peter Wolf & the Midnight Travelers, the Shaggs and many more.
In addition, the various Wilco members’ side projects – including Tweedy, the Autumn Defense, On Fillmore, the Nels Cline Four and Quindar – will also perform.
