MUSIC: The Barefoot Movement @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Winners of the Momentum Award (for best and brightest newcomers) from the International Bluegrass Music Association, this exuberant quartet crowds around a single mic and lets it rip with traditional barn-burners, tender ballads, lush harmonies and classic rock-inspired originals. 7pm. $22.

The music of Ice Cream may not be as innocently sweet as the treat they’re named after, but they’ll certainly delight anyone with even a passing interest in garage rock. MUSIC: Albany Symphony Orchestra @ Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, Troy. David Alan Miller conducts a program of Bach, Mozart and the world premiere of a new Michael Torke composition. 3pm.

THEATER: “Fragments” @ Skidmore College’s Janet Kinghorn Bernhard Theater, Saratoga Springs. Shea Leavis directs the play by the late Pulitzer Prize winner Edward Albee. 2pm. $12; $8 students & seniors. Through March 8.
