FEST: MOVE Music Festival Announces Headliners
The MOVE Music Festival is headed back to to Albany for its sixth year, but the fest is gonna look a little different this time around.
First of all, the three-day fest is shifting from its previous Friday-Sunday schedule to a Thursday-Saturday slate of events taking place from April 27-29.
While previous fests have showcased in 10 venues around Albany, this year’s fest will feature just six venues and will venture beyond the citylines for the first time.
And for the opening night festivities at 7pm on Thursday, April 27, the fest is moving out of the club scene and into the Cohoes Music Hall for a Local 518 showcase concert featuring Sawyer Fredericks, Jocelyn & Chris Arndt and C.K. Flach.
On Friday, April 28, the fest will move over to the Hangar on the Hudson in Troy for a showcase with performers TBA.
And on Saturday, April 29, the fest will take over three downtown Albany venues – the Hollow Bar + Kitchen, the Parish Public House and Stout – as well as the Fuze Box on Central Avenue near Lark Street. Bands are yet to be announced…
Advance tickets are now on sale. All-festival, three-day tickets are $45, while single day tickets are $20 for Cohoes Music Hall; $15 for the Hangar; and $25 for all of Saturday’s festivities.
