DANCE: Palissimo Company @ the UAlbany Performing Arts Center, Albany. An “in the raw” performance of “Bastard,” a work of dance, live music and spoken word that is loosely inspired by “The Painted Bird,” the controversial 1965 wartime novel by expatriate Polish writer Jerzy Kosiński. 7:30pm. $20; $15 students & seniors.
THEATER: “Assisted Loving: Dating with My Dad” @ theREP, Albany. Gordon Greenberg directs the world premiere of New York Times writer Bob Morris’ poignant new comedy explores the world of contemporary digital dating later in life. 8pm. Through February 19.
MUSIC/ETC.: Rock Out! Family Friendly Rock & Roll Party @ Albany Institute of History & Art, Albany. A family-friendly fun-filled evening kicking off by breaking open a papier mache guitar pinata and listening to some music. Then get your face painted like famous rockers David Bowie and Kiss, sing some karaoke and go on a rock & roll scavenger hunt. 5pm. FREE.
PERFORMANCE: Baba Brinkman’s Rap Guide to Climate Chaos @ Williams College’s ’62 Center, Williamstown. The Fringe First Award winner is the world’s first and only “peer reviewed rapper,” bringing climate change science to the masses with his unique brand of hip-hop comedy theatrics. $10; $3 students.

MUSIC: Williams Chamber Players @ Williams College’s Brooks-Rogers Recital Hall, Williamstown. Performing Thea Musgrave’s “Five Love Songs,” Brahms’ Sonata in F Major, op. 99 for Cello and Piano, the world premiere of “In Angustiis” by composer-pianist Zachary Wadsworth and Clara Schumann’s Piano Trio in G Minor, op. 17. 8pm.
