OK, it wasn’t the Plimsouls. How could it be without the band’s singer-songwriter Peter Case?

No, at the Hangar on the Hudson in Troy, it was the Plimsouls Re-Souled, led by guitarist Eddie Munoz, the only remaining original member of the band.

But it was pretty solid afternoon (yes, afternoon) of rockin’, and of course, Munoz led the Re-Souled-iers through such power-pop gems as “Zero Hour,” “I Want What You Got” and the stone-cold classic “A Million Miles Away” is front of a sold-out crowd.

And with the infamous Lawn Sausages opening the show – in their surprisingly formal attire – you know that everyone had a grand time…
