MUSIC: Donavon Frankenreiter @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. Hawaii-based surfer Donavon Frankenreiter is a folk-rock singer-songwriter who often writes with Grant-Lee Phillips. His songs often have an easygoing lilt that one might expect from his years of riding waves. Americana artist Emily Duff opens. 8pm.
COMEDY: Nick Offerman & Megan Mullally’s “Summer of 69: No Apostrophe” @ the Palace Theatre, Albany. The husband and wife team yanks the britches right off their marriage, exposing the salacious details of their fiery union for all the world to enjoy, featuring songs, funny talking, heavy ribaldry, light petting and an astonishing final act of completion. 8pm. $39.50, $49.50 & $59.50.
THEATER: “Broadway Bounty Hunter” @ Barrington Stage Company, Pittsfield. Inspired by the exploitation movies of the ’70s, Joe Iconis’ new musical follows a 60-ish-year-old, down-on-her-luck actor (played by Annie Golden of the Shirts and “Orange Is the New Black”) as she’s asked to become a bounty hunter and capture a South American drug lord. 3 & 7:30pm. $52.
