Free music…

Yes, it’s that time of year once again when Greater Nippertown communities unveil the schedules for their free summertime concert series.

There hasn’t been any official word yet regarding this summer’s series of free Rockin’ On the River concerts in Troy, but according to the band’s website, Talking Heads tribute band Start Making Sense is scheduled to play a return ROTR engagement at 5pm on Wednesday, June 15 to launch Troy’s big free concert series.

And according to the Rockin’ On the River website, it looks as though all of the 2016 shows are scheduled to take place at Troy’s Riverfront Park, rather than the Green Island Bridge parking lot, which had hosted the majority of concerts in previous years…
