Bands ‘N Beans Is Back…
All the chili you can eat! All the music you can hear!
Yes, hot chili and hotter music will be served up at the 25th annual Bands ‘N Beans event at the Roaring Brook Ranch in Lake George from 2-7pm on Sunday (March 20). A fundraiser for the Lake George Arts Project, tickets are $20 and will be available at the door.
Among the musicians slated to perform during this year’s marathon five-hour bash are George Fletcher’s Foldin’ Money, the Stony Creek Band, Rich Ortiz, Big Fez & the Surfmatics, Dirt Cheap, Chris Ballini, Tim Wechgelaer & Chris Carey, PJ Ferguson and Cowboy Ernie Sites.
Restaurants participating in the hotly contested Chili Competition include the Barking Spider, Barnsider, Bean’s Country Store, Caffe Vero, Caldwell House, Center Plate @ Gore Mt., Dizzy Chicken, Docksider, Dunhams Bay Lodge, East Cove, Frederick’s, Friends Lake Inn, Full Moon Bar & Grill, the Garrison, the Georgian, Grateful Den, King Neptune’s, Lizzie Keays, Longhorn Restaurant & Pub, Northway Diner, O’Toole’s Restaurant, the Tavern, UpRiver Café and Vic’s Tavern.
Along with chili from these restaurants Rock Hill Bakehouse will serve their award winning breads, and Ben & Jerry’s will sell their famous ice cream, with all their proceeds donated to the Lake George Arts Project.
