Palace Theatre Announces New Concert


Prog-rockin’ jam-band faves Umphrey’s McGee return to the Palace Theatre in downtown Albany at 7:15pm on Saturday, February 6.

Since forming at Notre Dame in 1997, Umphrey’s McGee has played more than 100 concerts annually, released nine studio albums and sold more than 3.5 million tracks online. They’ll be rolling into the Palace on their winter tour in support of their latest studio album, The London Session, featuring 10 tracks recorded in a single day at the historic Abbey Road studios. In addition they’ve got a brand new album, Hall of Fame: Class of 2014, a collection of last year’s best live songs, as determined by the UM faithful. Clocking in at 22 tracks, it times out at over four and half hours.

Joining UM at the Palace will be opening act TAUK, in support of Headroom.

Tickets for the concert will be available to Palace members on Wednesday (October 21) and will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday (October 23), priced at $27.50. Tickets will be $30 at the door on the day of the show.
