The Egg Announces a Two-Night Concert Stand
The Egg in Albany has announced a rare two-night concert stand by Harry Connick Jr. for 7:30pm on Wednesday and Thursday, June 10 & 11. The shows will feature music from Connick’s vast musical catalog, including songs from his most recent releases Smokey Mary and Every Man Should Know.
The multi-talented New Orleans native first made a name for himself as a pianist, singer and songwriter, recording 29 albums and selling more than 28 million albums over the course of his musical career. Along the way, he’s also won three Grammy Awards and two Emmys.
As an actor, he’s appeared regularly on television (“Will and Grace,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”), in films (“Memphis Belle,” “P.S. I Love You,” “Dolphin Tale”) and Broadway (“The Pajama Game,” “On a Clear Day You Can See Forever”). He’s also been a judge on FOX-TV’s “American Idol” for the past two seasons.
Tickets for Connick’s upcoming concerts at The Egg’s Hart Theatre are priced at $45, $55 & $75. Tickets are currently available to members of The Egg and will go on sale to the general public at 11am on Monday (May 18).
