Once again, a variety of Local 518 musicians are coming together to help those in need. The Low Beat in Albany is hosting the Rebuild Nepal Benefit Fest on Saturday afternoon (May 16) to raise money for the victims of the devastating earthquakes in Nepal.

The line-up of bands includes Troy power trio Super 400, surf-fuzz combo Kimono Dragons, rock wunderkinds Dearest Vendetta, funk powerhouse Victory Soul Orchestra, country-blues troubadour Henry’s Rifle and indie faves Bear Grass.

Doors open at 12noon, and the all-day event kicks off at 1pm. Admission is $10 suggested donation at the door with all proceeds to benefit the Shikshya Foundation Nepal, which is committed to supporting long-term, sustainable rebuilding efforts. All ages are welcome to the fest, but children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
