Two Concerts Announced for Troy’s Rockin’ On the River

For the past couple of years, Troy’s free Wednesday evening summer concert series Rockin’ On the River has been a parade of tribute bands on the stage in the Green Island Bridge parking lot. And it looks like there’s more of the same on tap again this summer, if the first couple of announcements of the season are any indication…

Although there’s been no official word yet from the organizers, a couple of shows in the series have been announced on the artists’ websites. And to no one’s surprise, they’re both tribute bands.

The Michael Jackson tribute Who’s Bad is slated to return on Wednesday, June 17, while Led Zeppelin tribute band Zoso is scheduled for Wednesday, August 12.

Stay tuned for the announcements of more concerts in the weekly, summer-long series…
